Monster Madness World Finals - September 2009

Calgary Exhibition and Stampede Grounds

The Monster Truck World Finals came back to Calgary for another spectacular show. 11 Tuff Truck racers put it all on the line to be crowned the World Finals 2009 Tuff Truck Champion. Below are some photos of us trying our hearts out to be awarded that trophy but in the end Martin Cochrane with his Chev Tracker took the Championship with the use of Nos!

Red Bull Mud Mayhem

Red Bull sponsored a Mud Bog event that contained jumps and a muck water pit. Tyler, Dalas and I headed out to Aldersyde for the day to compete and have some fun! Turns out the mud pit was mostly water so many racers experienced engine problems. Here are a few pics from the event. Unfortunately the last run which was for the gold I ended up falling off the car stack and had to back up before rolling on my side and Rubi then died in the water so rather than starting her and possibly taking out the engine we towed her out of the water and on to the trailer where she would get all new fluids prior to a restart. Dalas's engine mount caved on one of the landings leaving him stuck in between gears and dead before he could finish the race hense the photos of him finishing on foot. And finally poor Tyler's engine took a big drink and ran no more so he too finished on foot and got himself quite muddy I may add.

Foremost Tuff Trucks - June 2009

June brought us out to Foremost for some of the most extreme jumps and whoops we have ever experienced. There must have been close to 30 obstacles and we took them all and proved that trucks can fly. Sadly we didn't bring home the first trophy but we did bring home some cash and a couple of extremely busted Jeeps. My engine fell out again and this time there was no repairing the block so an engine swap was in order and Dalas pretty much finished off the CJ, as his motor ripped out as well taking the front drive shaft with it.
