May Long Weekend - Waiparous - 2009
May Long started and ended with snow, just so we could unpack and pack in the white stuff. The rest of the weekend for the Rocky Mountain Big Wheels was glorious and a good time was had by all.
May 2nd 2009 Opening Weekend - MacLean Creek
Rocky Mountain Big Wheels Bug Out run at MacLEan Creek was a success, with the exception of some icey hills that members without lockers struggled with.

Easter Long Weekend - Waiparous - 2009 - Ground Pounders Turkey Feast
We were the first to pull into the Ghost Airstrip on Easter Long weekend and plowed a trail with the semi as the slushy snow was a foot deep. We spent the rest of the weekend draining our campsite as the temperatures climbed and it was a gorgeous weekend. Wheelin was pretty good with one day run lasting 14 hours and Ken and Andrea's Land Cruiiser spending the night in the bush but the Turkey Dinner was exceptional!
